Tops of the Pops Christmas Special
For all of you who don’t know, Tops of the Pops is a show that airs in the United Kingdom. They had their annual Christmas special that comes on Christmas day and it was great. This show mainly features the biggest acts that are in the UK of the past year and has them performing their hits…Here are some of the standout performances from Leona Lewis (My favorite), Alexandra Burke, Pussycat Dolls, Girls Aloud and Coldplay……This is a special musical event….And Congrats to Alexandra Burke as she will be crowned with having the Christmas #1 of the year with her cover of the classic song, Hallelujah, (She also just broke the record for having the fastest selling downloaded song in the UK’s history, Taking this record away from my LeLe (My pet name for Leona!!!!!) But that’s ok she is very talented and deserves it…

The Original Idol Ready for Her Comback

The first American Idol, Miss. Kelly Clarkson herself, has had a rough year and a half…..She went from Grammy’s, American Music Awards and having the biggest selling record from any American Idol participant in history (Breakaway), to a mediocre album which was a major disappointment to her record company and manager Clive Davis…..Now she is getting ready to make her comeback and I think it will be a great one…..There are reports that she will release her first single on January 19th. The song is titled “My Life Would Suck Without You.” She has recorded a more radio friendly record (great way to go against everything you stood for just a year ago when you got into your huge fight with Clive) But I can’t be too mad….She has to keep the cheddar rolling in some kind of way…..Right now her new album which is still waiting to be titled is slated for a March 19th release. Hit writer, and the face of One Republic, Ryan Tedder, is supposed to have had some input on the album (which is great because all his songs rock ex: Bleeding Love, Halo) Tedder stated that Clarkson’s album will have big choruses like Garbage who is only my favorite band in the world.
I can’t wait…..
