Well the 81st Annual Academy Awards took place last night and it was quite an event…..Many of the people who won their awards were expected but there were a few surprises.  Like Sean Penn winning Best Actor…….I love the set up of the stage and how they had five of the past actors for each category to come up and present to the winners. Hugh Jackman who was the host, was very funny and knew how to revitalize the crowd when the show started to get a little slow.  Here are some pictures and a list of the winners of the night!!!!

Ok now that we are done with all of the pictures of the evening here is the re-cap….Now their were a little performance that featured the many stars of the today. The first was the opening number where Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway did a number which was really cool and kept my attention for once. I must say that this Academy Awards was not as boring as the last….Here is the clip of the opening performance..
